COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Today, Jessica Killin’s campaign for Colorado’s 5th Congressional District launched its fifth and sixth general election TV ads, “Works For” and “Rules”. The ads are part of a significant paid media strategy from Killin that will air across El Paso County.

“Works For” highlights Jeff Crank’s 30-year history as a political insider who made millions working for special interest groups. Once in Congress, Crank secured a special waiver allowing him to take gifts from lobbyists without disclosing them while refusing to host in-person town halls with the people he is supposed to represent.

“Rules” highlights Killin’s commitment to changing the rules of Washington by banning dark money, congressional stock trading, and members from becoming lobbyists - while Crank secured a special waiver to make sure Congressional ethics rules didn’t apply to him.

Fourth-generation Coloradan and Army Veteran Jessica Killin said, “Washington is not working for El Paso County, and Jeff Crank embodies exactly what’s wrong with Washington. I’ll fight for stronger ethics rules, including banning congressional stock trading and overturning Citizens United.
