New Poll: Army Veteran Jessica Killin Statistically Tied with Jeff Crank in CO-05
Killin Takes the Lead After Balanced Profiles
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A new poll of likely 2026 general election voters in Colorado’s 5th Congressional District shows Army veteran and fourth-generation Coloradan Jessica Killin is tied with incumbent Republican Jeff Crank in the fastest Democratic-trending district in the country.
The initial ballot test shows a statistical tie, with Killin at 44% and Crank at 45%. Killin outperforms the generic ballot (R+4) by three points. After balanced candidate profiles are provided, Killin moves into the lead, 47% to 44%. This demonstrates Killin’s ability to grow as voters learn more about her.
Fourth-generation Coloradan and Army veteran Jessica Killin said, “El Paso County needs real leadership: someone with the competence to deliver results, the courage to stand up to both parties, and the character to be a true representative who actually engages with their constituents and holds in-person town halls.
