COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Today, Jessica Killin’s campaign for Colorado’s 5th Congressional District launched its first general-election TV ad, "Earn It." The ad is part of a significant paid media strategy from Killin that will air across El Paso County. 

This 30-second spot highlights that relentless hard work has shaped Killin’s path to success from her upbringing with public school teacher parents and a high school job at Little Caesars to her time in the military.

Fourth-generation Coloradan and Army Veteran Jessica Killin said, “This is the community that raised me and instilled in me the values of hard work and service – and those are the values I will bring to Congress. Everyone deserves the opportunity to live the American Dream, and Jeff Crank has only made that more difficult, raising our costs and cutting healthcare. I will work tirelessly to stand up for El Paso County and deliver results.”

Raised by a teacher and a principal, Jessica Killin’s parents taught her if she wanted something in life, she’d have to earn it.  

So she worked at Little Caesars on Austin Bluffs before earning an ROTC scholarship… and served overseas as a military police officer in the Army. 

Jessica Killin proudly served our country – and she won’t stand by as extremists in both parties put politics ahead of serving the people.

About Jessica Killin

A proud fourth-generation Coloradan, Jessica Killin’s life has been shaped by a commitment to service and a deep love for her state and country. Raised in Colorado Springs by public school educators, she learned early the values of hard work and community. After graduating from Falcon High School, Jessica earned an ROTC scholarship and served as a Captain in the U.S. Army, leading soldiers as a Military Police Officer overseas. She has since dedicated her career to improving the livelihoods of all Americans, including over a decade at USAA where she worked to protect military families during the 2008 financial crisis, streamline VA home loans, and help servicemembers avoid predatory lenders.
