Army Veteran Jessica Killin Launches General Election TV Ad, “Patriotism”

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Today, Jessica Killin’s campaign for Colorado’s 5th Congressional District launched its second general-election TV ad, “Patriotism.” The ad is part of a significant paid media strategy from Killin that will air across El Paso County. 

This 30-second spot highlights Killin’s patriotism through her service in the Army to her commitment to putting her country above politics and partisanship.

Fourth-generation Coloradan and Army Veteran Jessica Killin said, “I’m running for Congress because I’m a patriot, I love my country, and I love Colorado. El Paso County needs a representative who will get things done, not create division for political gain. I’m ready to serve this community that taught me the value of patriotism.”

Growing up in Colorado Springs, I learned what real patriotism looks like — love of country, not love of party.

That's why I joined the Army and served overseas as a military police officer.

I love this country. I swore an oath, and I'm tired of watching politicians from both parties who divide us.

I’ll work with anyone to solve problems. That’s what service demands. 

I’m Jessica Killin, and I approve this message because we need more people in Congress who know that country comes before party. 

About Jessica Killin

A proud fourth-generation Coloradan, Jessica Killin’s life has been shaped by a commitment to service and a deep love for her state and country. Raised in Colorado Springs by public school educators, she learned early the values of hard work and community. After graduating from Falcon High School, Jessica earned an ROTC scholarship and served as a Captain in the U.S. Army, leading soldiers as a Military Police Officer overseas. She has since dedicated her career to improving the livelihoods of all Americans, including over a decade at USAA where she worked to protect military families during the 2008 financial crisis, streamline VA home loans, and help servicemembers avoid predatory lenders. Jessica is an Army veteran, public servant, and a devoted mother in a blended family with her husband, Raj, and three children.
