Jessica Killin Wins Another Debate; Crank Fails to Defend His Record of Rising Costs & Trump Loyalty

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Jessica Killin won today’s debate against Jeff Crank, offering a clear choice on costs, anti-corruption, and a commitment to service. 

Killin laid out a clear vision for a more prosperous economy by stopping tariffs that hurt small businesses and have raised costs, creating more housing stock Coloradans can afford, and repealing cuts to the ACA and Medicaid to lower healthcare costs for everyone. 

Killin also highlighted that Crank has put his loyalty to Trump over his loyalty to Coloradans: Crank was the deciding vote to cut healthcare, voted six times to back the Iran War that skyrocketed gas prices, and voted eight times to protect Trump’s reckless tariffs. 

Killin’s campaign manager Emily Dalgleish said, “Today, El Paso County saw the choice before them: politics as usual with Jeff Crank, who refuses to host in-person town halls, puts his loyalty to Trump over his loyalty to the district, and has consistently raised costs – and the leadership they could have with Jessica Killin – someone who is committed to showing up and listening to constituents, will stand up to either party to do what is right for Colorado, and has a plan to lower costs. Jessica was the clear winner of tonight’s debate and the only candidate on the stage who will stand up for Coloradans in Washington.”

A proud fourth-generation Coloradan, Jessica Killin’s life has been shaped by a commitment to service and a deep love for her state and country. Raised in Colorado Springs by public school educators, she learned early the values of hard work and community.
