Senator Hickenlooper Endorses Jessica Killin for Colorado’s Fifth Congressional District
Killin has earned the endorsement of all of Colorado’s Democratic Congressional Delegation
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Senator John Hickenlooper endorsed Jessica Killin for Colorado’s 5th Congressional District. Jessica Killin now has the endorsements of the full Colorado Democratic Congressional delegation: Senator Michael Bennet, Senator John Hickenlooper, Congresswoman Brittany Pettersen, Congressman Jason Crow, Congressman Joe Neguse, and Congresswoman Diana DeGette.
“Jessica Killin brings the courage and leadership we need to take back Congress and deliver results for Coloradans. She is an Army veteran and a fourth-generation Coloradan. She knows working families deserve better than paying double for their health insurance because extreme Republicans handed out tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy. Jessica is focused on bringing down prices and creating jobs across Southern Colorado, and I’m ready to work with her to do just that,” said Senator Hickenlooper.
Fourth-generation Coloradan and Army Veteran Jessica Killin said, “I’m honored to have received Senator Hickenlooper’s endorsement. Senator Hickenlooper has been a leader in Colorado in both business and government for decades, and I share his commitment to ensuring the private and public sectors collaborate to support economic prosperity for all Americans. Coloradans need pragmatic solutions and leaders who listen. El Paso County deserves a representative who listens and shows up for the community, not someone like Jeff Crank who refuses to hold in-person town halls and puts party loyalty over what his constituents need.”
