Michigan Senator Elissa Slotkin Endorses Jessica Killin for Colorado’s 5th Congressional District

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Today, United States Senator Elissa Slotkin endorsed Jessica Killin for Colorado’s 5th Congressional District. Senator Slotkin represents Michigan in the U.S. Senate. She previously served in critical national security roles under both the Bush and Obama administrations, won a long-time Republican-held Congressional seat in 2018, and served three terms in the U.S. House of Representatives.

“Jessica Killin’s deep roots in Southern Colorado, commitment to serving our country, and drive to deliver real results make her the right person to represent Colorado’s 5th Congressional District. We need a new generation of leaders in Congress who are focused on pragmatic solutions rather than partisan bickering, and that’s who Jessica is. She has spent her life answering the call to serve, and I know she will bring that same dedication and integrity to Congress,” said Senator Elissa Slotkin.

Fourth-generation Coloradan and Army Veteran Jessica Killin said, "I have always admired Senator Slotkin for her patriotism, pragmatism, and commitment to a better future for all Americans. She exemplifies the type of courageous leadership we need in Congress at this pivotal moment in our nation. I am deeply honored to have her endorsement and will emulate her common sense ethos and work ethic when I serve in Congress.”
