COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A new poll of likely 2026 CO-05 voters shows Army Veteran and Democrat Jessica Killin is well-positioned to defeat Republican incumbent Jeff Crank in the fastest Democratic-trending district in the country. While registered Republicans continue to outnumber Democrats in this district, unaffiliated voters (who make up a near majority of voters) tilt toward Democrats on the generic ballot by 15 points, leaving the overall generic ballot at just a three-point GOP advantage.

Meanwhile, despite his significant name ID advantage, Crank fails to outperform the generic ballot and leads the yet unknown Killin by only three points (well within the margin of error) and earns just 43% of the vote. More importantly, after voters are exposed to a balanced simulated campaign with equal amounts of positive and negative information on both candidates, Killin moves into a two-point lead.

Killin also raised over twice as much as Crank in the 3rd quarter.
