Epstein Victim’s Family Calls on Rep. Crank to Release Files
With the petition one signature short, Crank could single-handedly force a vote to release the files by signing
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Yesterday, the family of Virginia Giuffre, an Epstein victim, stood outside of Jeff Crank’s Office and called for transparency and accountability, urging him to sign the discharge petition that would force a vote to require the Department of Justice to release all unclassified files related to the Jeffrey Epstein case. Jeff Crank could be the deciding 218th signature on that petition. Instead, Rep. Crank has been silent and has failed to respond to Virginia’s family.
Sky Roberts, brother of Virginia Giuffre, said to KRDO, “She would have been here. She would have been right here speaking with you guys on a local level because that was her dream. She wanted this to come forward. She wanted these monsters to be put where they belong, which is behind bars for the rest of their life.”
Sky Roberts also said that Jeff Crank has failed to respond to the family, “They said to give them around 48 hours to respond, and it’s been well over a week. We’ve tried to reach out. There has been no response.”
Jessica Killin, running for Colorado’s 5th Congressional District to defeat Jeff Crank, released the following statement:
“This family and all of Epstein's victims deserve justice and the truth. If I were in Congress, I would vote to release all of the evidence and let the American people draw their own conclusions. It's shameful and disappointing that Rep. Crank can't be bothered to meet with or even respond to the families of victims he represents – he’s clearly too afraid to stand up to President Trump and do what’s right.
“Jeff Crank is now the deciding representative standing between the victims and the truth. I call on him to sign the discharge petition for Virginia Giuffre’s family and because our community deserves accountability and transparency. Even Lauren Boebert has the guts to stand up to Trump on this. Why won't Jeff Crank?”
