Democrat Jessica Killin heads into 2026 with a record-breaking total of more than $1.1 million cash on hand
Killin brought in more than $600,000 in Q4, putting her in a strong position to flip CO-5 with more cash on hand entering the on-year than any challenger in district history
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Southern Colorado native and Army veteran Jessica Killin’s momentous fourth quarter positions her to flip CO-05 in 2026 with strong fundraising, community engagement, key endorsements, and toss-up polling. Read the highlights below.
Fundraising Momentum Continues
Jessica had another strong fundraising quarter, bringing in over $610,000. She raised just over $350,000 from individual donors. And because she believes deeply in this race and the need to flip this district in 2026, her quarterly total includes $257,000 she personally invested in the campaign. She ends the quarter with over $1.1 million in cash on hand. Jessica has built strong grassroots support in her home state, with a majority of her donors from Colorado, over 750 donors from El Paso County, and a median donation of $25.
Community Engagement & Grassroots Support
Engaging with the community and hearing directly from voters across El Paso County is Jessica’s top priority. While El Paso County’s current congressman, Rep. Jeff Crank, refuses to host in person town halls, Jessica shows up, listening to concerns and responding directly to questions from community members.
By the numbers in Q4, Jessica:
Attended 25 community events
Had 36 meetings with El Paso County community members
Hosted 11 campaign events in El Paso County, including 6 Coffees with Killin in Falcon, Southeast, Briargate, Old Colorado City, Ivywild, and Downtown
Has over 250 volunteers

Poll Shows Toss-up Race with Jeff Crank
A poll of likely 2026 CO-05 voters shows Army veteran, mom, and public servant Jessica Killin is well-positioned to defeat Republican incumbent Jeff Crank in the fastest Democratic-trending district in the country.
The poll shows:
Despite being less-known, Killin initially trails by just three points in a head-to-head matchup with Crank and has a clear path to 50%.
More importantly, Killin moves into a two-point lead after voters learn more about her and are exposed to a balanced simulated campaign with equal amounts of positive and negative information on both candidates.
The polling memo from Global Strategy Group is available to read here.
2026 is the year Colorado’s 5th Congressional District will flip
With the groundswell of grassroots support, a $1.1 million campaign war chest, enthusiastic endorsements from Colorado’s leadership, and the poll showing Jessica is neck-and-neck with Jeff Crank, 2026 is the year that Jessica Killin will flip CO-05 and bring competence, courage, and character to El Paso County’s congressional representation.
