U.S. Army Veteran and 4th Generation Coloradan Jessica Killin brings in over $800,000 in Q2
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – In the second quarter of the election year, Southern Colorado native and Army veteran Jessica Killin continued to build the momentum needed to flip Colorado's 5th Congressional District, bringing in more than $800,000. She enters the next quarter with over $1.58 million in cash on hand and over $3.1 million raised through the election cycle so far.
Killin has established herself as one of the strongest fundraisers in the country among competitive congressional challengers, outraising Jeff Crank in every fundraising quarter and reporting period since entering the race. Crank has not yet released his second-quarter fundraising numbers.
Her sustained fundraising strength underscores the growing energy behind her campaign and provides the resources needed to flip one of the nation's top congressional battlegrounds.
Killin has built significant local grassroots momentum with over 1,300 donors in El Paso County, and the campaign’s median donation is $15. As a sign of her commitment to flipping CO-05 in 2026, Jessica personally invested $125,000 into the campaign this quarter.
Fourth-generation Coloradan and Army Veteran Jessica Killin said, “We are at a defining moment for both our country and our community. This campaign is focused on holding Jeff Crank accountable but also providing a big, bold vision for El Paso County so we can flip this seat for the first time in history. I am grateful to the thousands of neighbors and supporters who have fueled this momentum. Together, we are going to create a better future for the people of the Pikes Peak Region.”
