COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Today, Jessica Killin’s campaign for Colorado’s 5th Congressional District launched its first TV ad, Service. The ad is part of a six-figure paid media strategy from Killin that will air across El Paso County in the final four weeks of the primary. This is the first TV ad from any congressional candidate in the race.
The 30-second ad highlights Jessica’s career of service as an Army Captain, fighting for veterans and servicemembers during her career, and her dedication to improving the livelihoods of Coloradans, lowering costs, defending our rights, and protecting Social Security and Medicaid.
Fourth-generation Coloradan and Army Veteran Jessica Killin said, “Jeff Crank has been putting partisan loyalty over service to El Paso County. Growing up in this community and understanding its deep sense of service and patriotism drove me to serve my country in the Army and continue a career working for the American people. The Pikes Peak Region deserves a representative who will lower costs, protect their rights, and listen to and engage with them. I will always stand up for El Paso County.”
Service transcript:
I was raised here in El Paso County by two public school educators…taught early that service matters.
So I served as an Army Captain overseas.
Then I spent my career fighting for veterans and working people.
Sadly, that spirit of service is missing in Washington today.
I’m Jessica Killin. In Congress, I'll defend our fundamental rights, protect Social Security and Medicare, and lower costs.
I approve this message, because too many politicians have forgotten what service means…I never will.
